SHORT TERM ACCOMMODATION (STA)

Our short-term accommodation (Respite) services allow participants experience independent living while taking a break from their family or primary caregivers. These breaks can range from overnight stays to weekends, a few days for up to 14 days.

Medium-Term Accommodation

Medium-term accommodation is a type of home and living support under the NDIS. It is a type of temporary

  • It is important to note that medium-term accommodation is not provided as a standalone support instead, it is included in a person’s plan as part of their overall home and living support needs.

 Typically, funding for medium-term accommodation is provided for up to 90 days.

  • Funding for medium-term accommodation covers only the cost of the accommodation for the duration of the stay. The NDIS funds other disability supports separately if you need them while you stay in your medium-term accommodation.
